I denna workshop kastar vi oss tillbaka till 1970-talets USA och funkens era och lär oss ”The Master Handshake”. Denna enkla och skojiga dansrutin skapades av den legendariska dansgruppen The Lockers för tv-programmet Soul Train.
Workshopen hålls av nuvarande dansstudenten Josefine Odelius, som specialiserar sig i stilen Locking på Åsa folkhögskola.

Every full hour between 11:00 and 16:00, you can choose from several exciting and fun workshops to participate in. Come and learn something new or simply hang out and have fun with others!
This workshop is a throwback to the 1970s USA and the era of funk music. Together we’ll learn the legendary Master Handshake, originally performed by The Lockers dance group on the popular television show Soul Train.
The handshake is taught by current Åsa course participant Josefine Odelius, who specialises in the Locking street dance style at the school.
